Join the California Employment Development Department (EDD) as a Senior Unemployment Insurance Specialist. We're seeking a dedicated professional to manage complex unemployment insurance claims and ensure accurate and fair benefit payments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Review and adjudicate complex unemployment insurance claims.
- Make decisions on eligibility, monetary determinations, and benefit charges.
- Conduct interviews with claimants and employers to gather evidence.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal unemployment insurance laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to claimants and employers.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
- Train and mentor new UI specialists.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of experience in unemployment insurance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of unemployment insurance laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
