Join Oregon State University's innovative team of software engineers! We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for our university-wide systems.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead software development projects from inception to delivery.
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in software development, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or a similar object-oriented language.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
